Mávila Huertas and Michelle Alexander, are working together on an ambitious documentary “Machu Picchu, the jewel of the emperor”. Production in which intertwine the stories of the Inca Pachacutec, the architect and builder of the majestic Inca city, and Hiram Bingham, the man who discovered this wonder a century ago.

The documentary would be released in July to coincide with the official ceremonies of the centennial of Machu Picchu. Production will be issued by “America TV” in two episodes of an hour each.

“I would like to repeat the experience of the documentary. This is something expected for a long time. It seems that Michelle would have me read your mind. I was a field reporter for over 10 years and return to field work has been rewarding, ” said Mavila.
